Social Action

Repair the World. Make a difference.

Social Justice is at the core of the Jewish faith. While many synagogues embark on worthy initiatives of Tikkun Olam, for Oheb Shalom it's about how social justice has defined our institution. Throughout our rich history, Oheb Shalom has leveraged its collective will to make a difference.

As Jews, we are commanded to think about others in our midst, especially those less fortunate, and strive towards repairing the world. The Social Action Committee provides congregants opportunities to give back by addressing the needs of our congregation and our community at large.
