Learner's Shabbat Morning Service and Family Jam
Saturday, April 27, 2024 • 19 Nisan 5784
9:45 AMAn interactive, discussion-based Shabbat morning in which we will focus on the Amidah. If you don’t know what that is, that’s a good sign this service is for you! And if you do know what that is, now is your chance to really get into the words: the hows and the whys.
9:45 am: Services begin: shaharit and Hallel (songs for Passover)
10:15 am: Learner’s service begins: everyone please be in your seats by now as we will pause at this point in the service to review the structure and begin our learning and discussions. Services will feature an abridged Torah service as we make space for learning and practicing the Amidah together.
A fun, musical Family Jam will follow. We encourage families, friends, and newcomers to join us for this uplifting event.
Noon: Service concludes, followed by kiddush lunch (Passover style).
All ages welcome! RSVP appreciated for those who wish to attend.
