
Simchat Torah Celebration

9:15 AM9:15 am: Simchat Torah services
10:00 am: Hallel followed by Hakafot (dancing with the Torah scrolls), featuring music and entertainment by the all-female klezmer sextet Isle of Klezbos, who will get everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor. Parents are invited to join for dancing led by your children until services conclude at approximately 12:00 pm.
A celebratory kiddush lunch will follow for the entire community, as well as dedication and inauguration of our new Lev Shalem siddurim. We will honor Arthur Schechner as the Chatan Torah and the entire Zeman School as the Chatan Breshit, the honors given for the ending and beginning of the Torah reading cycle.
