9:00 AM - 1:00 PMFull day of activities with renowned scholar and author, Rabbi Jill Hammer and our favorite music teacher, Miss Vivian.
9am Zeman School begins. Coffee, tea & pastries available for parents after drop-off (Founders Hall)
9:15-10:30am Renowned scholar, Rabbi Jill Hammer will provide a special lecture on the ancient text of dreamwork and the history of Jewish dream interpretation. We will explore Joseph's dream intrepretation in the Torah and how to understand messages from your own dreams. (Schechner Chapel)
9:45am Shabbat morning services (Sanctuary)
10:45am Family Jam - services for children of all ages and their parents, led by Rabbi Treu and Miss Vivian (Schechner Chapel)
12pm Barbara Zinbarg z"l Kiddush Lunch (Murnick Hall)
12:30pm Immediately following lunch, Rabbi Jill Hammer will lead a text study and discussion of the Jewish solstice celebration and how it fits into the cycle of nature and our lives. She will specifically speak about Chanukah, the solstice, and the seasons of light & dark. (Murnick Hall)
*Thanks to our teens for providing informal babysitting from 12:30 – 1:30pm so families can stay and enjoy the lunchtime learning (playroom)
