Join us for the return of indoor Shabbat Morning services at Oheb Shalom! Though we'll remain socially distant, we'll pray together as a community.

Anyone who wishes to attend must pre-register.

Registration is limited.

Requirements for Participation

Persons may not attend if:

  • they have knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 7 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 7 days.
  • they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 7 days (including fever).

Be advised you will be asked these same questions when you arrive at the synagogue.

Please note:

  • Masking is not required but strongly recommended for unvaccinated and immuno-compromized. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask.
  • Side sections of the sanctuary will be roped off to allow self-selected social distancing. The center pews will allow for closer seating.
  • The dinner will be served outdoors, moving inside in inclement weather.
  • People with respiratory symptoms are encouraged to stay home.

Oheb's ushers are our Health Ambassadors. They are tasked with ensuring that everyone visiting Oheb Shalom abides by our safety requirements and protocols. We ask that you respect and cooperate with their efforts to keep us all safe.

I understand and acknowledge that attending services or other programming at Oheb Shalom Congregation (“Oheb”) exposes me to a risk of serious illness from COVID-19. Although Oheb is implementing guidelines recommended by medical professionals and government agencies in order to reduce the likelihood of exposure, Oheb cannot guarantee that I or my children will not become infected with COVID-19 if I choose to attend any in-person services or other programming at Oheb, and I knowingly agree to assume such risk. I understand and agree that in the event I choose to attend in-person services or other programming, I must follow all rules of conduct established by Oheb and by any governmental authorities and will ensure that my children follow these rules as well.
