Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

Join us as we thank our local POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS with a special Menorah lighting on the front lawn.

Light the first light in honor of those who help keep the lights on for us!

South Orange Village President Sheena Collum will be on hand to speak and Rabbi Cooper will lead us in a short blessing and candle lighting.

Face masks and social distancing required.
Dress warmly!

Anyone who wishes to attend must pre-register. Registration is limited.

Requirements for Participation

Persons may not attend if:

  • they have knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 14 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days (including fever).

Be advised you will be asked these same questions when you arrive at the synagogue.

Mandatory Safety Protocols for All Attendees

  • You must wear a face mask at ALL TIMES and keep a physical distance of 6 feet when talking with another individual (who does not reside in your household). If you are medically unable to wear a face mask, please stay home and watch the service virtually.
  • Face masks must be worn correctly (over the nose, below the mouth and chin) and from "car door to car door." Please do not walk in the parking lot without a face mask on.
  • Contact Tracing: Every person who attends the service must be registered via the form below. This is critical for contact tracing if someone gets sick with COVID-19.
