On Sunday, May 5th, 2019, Our Lady of Sorrows Church and the First Presbyterian and Trinity Church will host the 42nd Annual SOMA Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance Service.
A MARCH OF REMEMBRANCE will take place at 2 PM assembling at Spiotta Park at the corner of South Orange Avenue and Village Plaza. Clergy and officials from the Two Towns will lead the March to Our Lady of Sorrows.
The REMEMBRANCE SERVICE at Our Lady of Sorrows will begin at 3 PM. This year’s speaker will be a child survivor who was hidden during the Holocaust.
For 42 years our towns have come together to remember the Holocaust and to vow to use the power within us to be vigilant and to protest continuing discrimination and genocide.
