Israel Action
Mission
- To promote - regardless of one's political orientation - congregational understanding of key issues in the State of Israel.
- To support and celebrate Israel by developing and participating in economic, cultural, religious and social programmatic events, and by maintaining links with its people and its institutions.
- To identify and report any local expression of anti-Zionism or anti-Semitism.
- To express and inspire solidarity with the State of Israel.

Leil Yisrael at Oheb Shalom - Four evenings devoted to Israel
Rikudei Am - Israeli Dancing- Sunday, January 10, 2010, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
Join us for an evening of Israeli folk dancing at Oheb Shalom with popular Dance teacher Danny Pollock! Beginners to advanced, adults and teens welcome!
Free admission.
Israeli Movie Night
Saturday, February 6, 2010, 7:00 P.M.
Light dinner and ice cream sundaes, followed by a screening of the film Shiva (the story of a complicated Israeli family from Morocco that struggles when it gathers to observe shiva for a brother).
Cost: $15 per adult/$6 per child under 13, or $40 per family
Opening Reception for an Exhibition of Lior Ziv’s Photographs
Sunday, March 14, 7:00 - 8:30 P.M.
A look at Israeli society through the lens of the late IDF photographer Lior Ziv. A documentary about Lior's life will be followed by conversation about the exhibit with Yotam Zach, MetroWest shaliach, and refreshments. Free admission.
Erev Shira - An Israeli Sing Along
